Kate Megaw

Kate Megaw is an experienced Agile leader, coach, trainer, and speaker who has spent the last two decades helping organizations unlock the power of agility. Her journey began in the world of training and operations, where she discovered her passion for developing empowered, high-performing teams. She later transitioned into Agile coaching and leadership, building a reputation as a transformational trainer and trusted advisor to executive leaders and delivery teams alike.

She is the Founder and CEO of ARCLight Agile, a consultancy dedicated to helping individuals and organizations BE Agile, not just do Agile. Through ARCLight, Kate has trained thousands of professionals and worked with clients across industries including technology, finance, and healthcare. In 2024, she launched Team KatAnu, a collaborative venture with Anu Smalley, focused on executive coaching and leadership development. Together, they deliver certified training and custom programs that foster adaptability, innovation, and team empowerment.

Before founding ARCLight Agile, Kate spent over a decade at The Braintrust Consulting Group, where she served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Certified Scrum Trainer, leading strategic Agile transformations and scaling training initiatives. Her earlier career includes operational and project management roles in both the US and UK, including work in education consulting, software implementation, and leadership development.

Kate holds the Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST) credential from the Scrum Alliance, Certified Agile Leadership, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute. She regularly speaks at international Agile and leadership conferences, where she is known for her passion, practical insight, and people-first philosophy.

A believer that leadership is a team sport, Kate helps organizations build cultures of trust, safety, and continuous learning. Her coaching emphasizes not just strategy and structure, but also resilience, empathy, and the human side of change. Based in Los Angeles, she continues to inspire teams worldwide with her engaging presence, storytelling, and agility rooted in values.
